ENRICO ROSA: born in Leghorn - Italy on September the 18th 1951.

He is an extremely versatile guitar virtuoso always exploring various musical fields.

Session man, composer and arranger, in Italy and Denmark since 1971. In 1973 composed and recorded a Symphonic Rock Album with his band "Campo di Marte", which is a milestone of the Italian progressive rock of the 70s, reissued on CD in 1994, re-mastered original track list on CD in 2006 and LP reissue in 2007.

In Italy, from 1972 to 1978 guitarist for Gianni and Marcella Bella,Checco dei Giganti as well as on several productions by CBS and UA working in studios and concerts with Ares Tavolazzi, Giulio Capiozzo, Demetrio Stratos (Area), Tullio De Piscopo, etc.

In Denmark has performed in the Jazz field solo or with Max Leth, Hugo Rasmussen, Jesper Lundgaard, Ole Kock Hansen, Niels Jørgen Steen, Willy Egmose, Hans Esbjerg etc.

At the end of the 70s Enrico Rosa moved to Denmark and started solo concerts by classical guitar playing fusion between classical music and Jazz using his own right-hand technique, developed in the 60s, combining plectrum and finger picking.

During the 80s, soloist on Yamaha concerts where he performed solo on several electric and acoustic guitars.

From 1981 to 1990 arranger, composer and guitarist at Sans Souci Theater (Kolding DK).

In concert with the Danish - Italian myth Dario Campeotto, Jette Torp as well as The Odense Symphony Orchestra with Sarah Brightman and the recording of Ron Goodwin film scores.

On tour 2001 with Latin (o) touch (Tony Cigna's group) with Flavio Piantoni - bas, Orazio Maugeri - Saxophone and Francois Bahu - piano.

Since 2001 Enrico has started a new project, ROSÆ , here classical music for recorder have been presented with new guitar parts as well as compositions by Enrico (on CD "Classico Atipico" in 2002) and forthcoming productions crossing over to jazz and rock will present this other side of ROSÆ concerts by Eva and Enrico Rosa

On his CD "Passione & Musica" released in 2002, Enrico performs with Torben Bøtker Bjørnskov on Bass, Frank Thøgersen on percussion, Alexandr Matin Sass on piano.

In October 2002, in Boston (USA), Enrico Rosa and Chet Baker's pianist Ferdinando Argenti have recorded a Jazz production with original compositions released in 2003 including Eva Rosa on recorder as a guest soloist on two tracks: To the old Friendship.

In 2003 Enrico with Campo di Marte again in an historical concert at "On the Road" Pelago (Italy) where the band performed for the first time after 30 years recording a new Live CD Concerto Zero.

In 2006 an amazing CD "The Incredible Journey" with ROSÆ.

Jazz fusion CD "Back Home"with Link XII presented in Italy July 2006 at Barga Jazz,this work is a cooperation with guitarist Vincenzo Bramanti, drummer Michele Leonardi and bass player Antonello Solinas

October 2009 back to Boston with Ferdinando Argenti in quartet with David Clark on bass and James T. Lattini on drums. After a short concert tour the 4 musicians recorded a new Argenti & Rosa album, "Boston Gig", released march 2011.

Enrico Rosa has been teaching at Conservatories and other Musical Institutes since 1979 and has been a part of the creation of the Conservatory of Jazz/Funk/Rock in Denmark as well as the complementary music education as MGK in Denmark.
